October was a time full of inspiration, challenges, and new opportunities for us. We had the honor of representing NanoSci at Impact Bucharest 2024. This extraordinary experience allowed us to share our story, establish new business connections, and inspire others with examples of Polish successes in the deep tech sector.
NanoSci at Impact Bucharest
In Bucharest, NanoSci was represented by Radek Miszczak, COO of NanoSci, and Adam Kądziela, our CEO, who participated as a panelist in the discussion “Investing in innovation: Trends and best practices in supporting startups.” The panel brought together representatives from startup ecosystems across Eastern Europe. Adam shared our journey as a deep tech startup, describing NanoSci’s path from an idea to collaboration with major corporations and the execution of projects in international markets.
One of the key topics discussed during the panel was the role of institutions supporting startups in Poland, such as the Polish Development Fund (PFR), the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP), and accelerators like InCredibles and Huge Thing. Adam emphasized that thanks to their support—both financial and mentoring—Polish startups can effectively scale their innovations to global markets.
Why Impact Bucharest?
For NanoSci, participating in Impact Bucharest was another step in implementing our strategy for international expansion. The event gathered innovation leaders from Central and Eastern Europe, offering a unique opportunity to forge business relationships with partners from these markets. The Eastern European region, often referred to as the “New Europe,” is full of hardworking, talented, and ambitious innovators who strive to change the world.
We showcased our achievements in photocatalytic technology, which is revolutionizing air purification and hydrogen production. We are particularly thrilled by the interest in the potential of our solutions in the context of developing eco-friendly infrastructure in the region.
Recognition for the Polish Startup Ecosystem
At Impact Bucharest, the uniqueness of the Polish startup support ecosystem was repeatedly highlighted. Thanks to acceleration and investment programs like ScaleUp Booster and initiatives by PAIH, Polish startups have access to tools that enable growth and competitiveness on the international stage.
Over the past 30 years, the Polish economy and society have come a long way, building a solid foundation for innovation. At NanoSci, we are proud to be part of this transformation, sharing our experiences with partners from Eastern Europe and inspiring others to take action.
Gratitude and Plans for the Future
We want to express our heartfelt thanks to the organizers of Impact Bucharest for their excellent organization and for creating a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences. It was an extraordinary event that will undoubtedly lead to new projects and partnerships.
